my seesters.

how in the world am i soo lucky?!?!

i'm not sure!

i love these 2 more than anything and i am soo grateful for them!

we all went to savannas and stayed there till about midnight! hahah it was fun.

woahhh. this finger is giving me a workout!

let me say that again.

THIS FINGER IS GIVING ME A WORKOUT!!

i go to therapy once a week and i am there for about 3 hours.

now, that is a very painful three hours.

they stretch it, move it, crank it, bend it in EVERY POSSIBLE DIRECTION it seems like!!
i have to do therapy at home as well, so right now it seems like i do therapy all day, everyday! its just great. i have become best friends will all of my therapy "devices" more like "torture devices".

they have been soo nice and soo helpful with my hand i am soo grateful for them!

right now the 2 major things they are trying to fix is the stuck tendon and the stiff joint.
this week at therapy i heard some good news! my stuck tendon is no longer stuck!! FINALLY! so now i can bend it just a little bit more.
he asked me what i did differently this week and i told him i went boating.. tubing and wake boarding! he told me, thats it! you have to go boating more :) hahah. so yayy for boating, it fixed my finger a little!
but sadly, my finger is not bending as much as they wanted it to by now, so i have 2 WEEKS to get this bad boy moving again.. and if doesnt start moving, i might have to get.. the S word, again. as in surgery. and that is not happenin!! surgery is a big no no! so lets pray for NOO SURGERY :)
my doctor told me that what i did to my finger is worse than breaking my femur. seriously, i was doing a backhandspring!! hahah what do you do?! well, i know for a fact: this is my last injury!! :)

cute huh.. how do you think my wedding ring will look?! :)

so for now, happy therapy!!

p.s. my home teachers came over and i showed him my finger, he is like eeew, that is ugly with a capital UG! i felt really good.. that sure boosted my self esteem up haha. and let me point out, hes a grandpa!!

youth conference.

the first day of youth conference we played a game called faith factor.

it was just like fear factor but it was a bunch of church questions.

there were 3 teams.

they would ask a question and the 2 teams who didnt get the answer had to do some sort of challenge.

my challenge was to eat a whole tin of whipping cream with no hands!
mmmm, so i love whipping cream but this was a lot!! hahhha.

and I WON! :)

the second day we went to temple square.

i loved it.

1. i love the temple!!

2. i love my ward!!

3. i love youth conference!! :)

we walked all around temple square and went on different tours.
it was so fun to be able to see the temple all day!

these fellas had a little snooze :)

and to finish the day off we got a big bopper!!
490 STINKING CALORIES!!
YUMM!!

we did many fun things all day.. here is a few... :)
in the JOSEPH SMITH MEMORIAL BULIDING
we had a cooking class.
played jeopardy in the FAMILY HISTORY CENTER.
in the VISITOR CENTER
we listened to a speaker.
we took a tour through the CHURCH HISTORY MUSEUM
we also toured the CONFERENCE CENTER
and saw the
HALL OF PROPHETS
we went on the
ROOF OF THE CONFERENCE CENTER
had a scavenger hunt through
DESERT BOOK.
and ate dinner in the
JOSPEH SMITH MEMORIAL BUILDING.

now, i call that an awesome youth conference :)

my summer has been amazing soo far!!!
and i have been quite lame in the blogging world.
so here i go, i'm getting caught up :)
baby steps.

FISH LAKE!!
i love fish lake soo much.
one of the prettiest places on earth.
i am so grateful for grandma and the opportunity she gives us to go up there.

talon stayed home because of football. tanner and steph didnt come because they were on their honeymoon.
so that leaves it to my dad and us 4 girls!
i got to take joie.
so make that my dad and 5 girls!
it was so much fun :)
family + joie + fish lake = great week!
